Spice eBikes

I haven’t been to the actual store but their van passed me today doing at least 90 in a 65. We were going 75 and he passed us like we weren’t moving then weaved in front of us heading north near Berthoud on N 107th. Extremely unsafe driver. Update: changed review from 1 to 4 stars since the owner promptly responded and said she’s taking this driver off the road. As the owner of multiple e-bikes I’ll check out their store next time I’m in the market.

I had the pleasure of going to Spice eBikes the other day on Main Street in Longmont. The store was super inviting and welcoming. not like many of the bike shops, Spice eBikes made me feel at home and unafraid to ask basic questions about eBikes and how they work. In addition to the great location and staff, i found a wide range of brands and a good selection and price ranges. Unlike other stores i wasn't pushed into only one type of bike or brand, rather they suggested something that could really work for me. they actually listened to what i wanted. 5 stars - highly recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about this business. We made our first purchase from them in 2017 when we fell in love with our ebikes on a unconditional test ride. Nearly four years and 11,000 miles later we have received great service from Small Planet. Occasional software updates, mechanical service, parts shipped to us in various parts of the country; these people do it all. (2024: now with 30,000 miles on the bike)

For starters the employees here are always exceptional and very understanding. Ever since getting my first e-bike I have been addicted to riding more and more miles each time. I love the way it feels. I highly recommend Spice eBikes! It's the only place I will shop for bike parts and maintenance.

First, I love that it is a female owned business, second, it is local for me. Amy (and all her crew)is very knowledgeable about her bikes and inventory. I was encouraged to ride several different models so I could get a good feel for what was best for me. I LOVE my e-bike and I’m happy to know that when I need help or service, they are there and happy to help. I highly recommend Spice if you are considering an e-bike.
