Scam company, I sent in my perfect phone for trade in, Phobio emailed me" Received empty box". After I sent emails for a week, no any response. Costco claimed not in charge for Phobio, we trust Costco, but they are totally not related, do not use this company! Fraud! Until 2 weeks later, phobio did not do investigation, not file UPS claim, Phobio even told me that my trade in phone was used by other people. They refuse to do nothing include file claim to ups after I sent 5 emails to request.
Dont Trust Phobio I need to Give negative review. In the world of AI, the team is not able to find the tracking number, where they mismatched the confirmation and tracking number. Now the team not able to find the package is. They Don't have proper records for Inbound queues and no proper filter to find whom they sent what, Complete useless tracking system. you are lucky only if you have all details. Keep a photo of all your tracking. I bought a mobile from Moto official website and moto official trading partner is phobia. Now I am clueless to track where my phone is phobia team is dampest where they cant able to filter with name and address or IMEI number, etc. Create many tickets all are closed with no resolution
BEWARE !! This company is an absolute fraud. I can’t imagine how Costco is working with them for trade-ins. Do not under any circumstances do a trade in with them. We shipped a mint condition MacBook to them which they received on Oct 31 and after long 11 days this company sends us a picture with a damage that was never there on our MacBook. So the quote went down from $375 to $79. We will be reporting this company to BBB, Costco and everywhere and everyone possible.
Unprofessional Customer Service I recently ordered a Moto G smart phone from Motorola’s' website (supported by Phobio). Order number: 1444982285729-01. Motorola has a complicated "trade-in" policy where the customer is required to send Motorola their old phone within 30 days of the purchase otherwise the new phone will disabled. I had a few questions about these rules and after exchanging a few emails with Motorola, one of their representatives, Shakima S, canceled my order. She responded with the following message: The assistance you're asking for is something we can not provide. You're inquiring about an order, not a trade-in. Regards, Shakima S. Phobio Director of Customer Care After following-up with Shakima S., she made it clear that she couldn’t care less about my order and had no interest in helping me.
This is a very dishonest company that practices fraud and theft. I sent in an older iPhone and all I wanted was an Apple store credit in exchange. I completed the online form and sent in the phone with the packaging Phobio sent to me. The phone was working perfectly fine and the only reason I sent it in for a credit was because with two new iPhones on the market the iPhone 11 and the SE, I figured that I'd go ahead and upgrade. When Phobio responded back to my return it stated all kinds of malfunctions that did not exist when I sent in the phone. They recanted their offer and reduced it to $0.00 and returned "a iPhone" I say "a iPhone" as I'm not even sure its the one I sent in and it definitely is not working like the one I sent in. On top of that, the phone came back tarnished and dirty - down right filthy! I'm the type of person that keeps all my original receipts, paperwork, and packaging. I had that phone so cleaned and ready to be given to a friend as if it was brand new, but I chose the credit and sent it in to Phobio only to get back a broken dirty useless phone. I responded back to Phobio with my discontent and the company never bothered to acknowledge my concerns. Since it was an older phone I was not entirely setback but the fact that they did not even bother to discuss it with me and they sent the iPhone back to me filthy was entirely disrespectful. Sell your old Apple devices on a used market or give away do not use this company.
