NX-Mobile - Aurora - Phone Repair

Went in to get our phone repaired last Saturday. They told me it was a frame damage and it would be done later today then it somehow took 2 more days. And once I went to pick it up on Monday they said the pins or motherboard was also broken and it would be an additional cost of 80 dollars on top of the 206 dollars, a new iPhone X only costs 170 on Amazon but we decided to get it repaired there hoping it would he quick even though it was expensive. They said it would take a day or two to repair the pin and on Tuesday i called and they said they’re currently doing it but then they called me again today saying it would take a month for the new pins to arrive. It was very inconvenient and delayed every step of the process and they lied about their delivery times multiple times.

Terrible company just go to best buy instead and get proper protections. NX Installed a a brand new screen and told me I had a year warranty, now that there was a change in management that policy was no longer valid, screen went bad after 9 months. Refused to help me in anyway and said I had to buy a brand new screen for 350$ again. Went to multiple professionals and was told that the screen they installed was a refurbished aftermarket screen that was a miracle to last more then 6 months. Complete ripoffs.

This is one of worst, terrible experience with a mobile store. The owner of the store and the manager at store are perfect example of scammers scamming people. The owner quoted a front screen and a battery for Google pixel 4a 4g for $185 and I kindly requested the service for $150 he agreed and told me to show at the shop. This morning I was at the store and the manager over there was like let me call my owner to see this issue and the guy was like the owner didn’t give you no deals and discounts and we can’t do it for the price. I don’t know if he spoke with the owner or not. Later, I messaged and called the store owner, initially he was like we can’t do for that price, and later I explained him about the price we discussed yesterday and he was like I can do $150 for battery and the screen if going to be around $170. I don’t understand such people how can they scam others by already making one deal and later changing that. I would definitely not recommend this store for mobile services. These guys are bunch of liars, and I wish I could give them 0 stars(like no stars). It was a mere waste of time.

Came in to get a phone screen replacement, got quoted $147.87 and got a receipt paying them $200 while getting $52.13 back . Guy sold me the wrong repair and called me back asking for another $150 dollars. I denied and when I went to go get my refund, They couldn't give me my refund of $147.87 and ended up giving me $95 dollars because I didn't have their $52.13. Now I'm down $45 dollars because they didn't have enough in there cash register to cover the $147.87 and kept telling me since I didn't have his $52.13 dollars, he gets to keep my $45 dollars. It makes completely no sense. All I know is, I walked in with $200, got a refund for their own error and somehow walked out with $145 dollars. What a scam. Avoid at all costs. I know they are not going make it right and refund me since they apparently need it more than I did. They also charge almost double what everyone else would have charged for the repair after calling for more money.
