I just spent 50 dollars for a dude to open my pc, look at my motherboard, tell me the exact same thing I told him, and hand it back to me. not only did they not do what I ask, they lied about what the issue was. no attempts were made to try to repair, or even go further than just looking at the board. I took the pc home, cleaned it and repaired it myself (the thing i paid these guys to do) and what do you know, its working. the whole process for me took no more then 15 minutes. so the very thing I was trying to avoid doing myself, and why i brought it in to them to fix in the first place, i did myself and they did not even bother. He even told me he did not even bother trying. what a joke. Maybe if they were not playing their survival game in the back and doing their job, they could of done this themselves. Scammers and not very good ones. Not only did he try to tell me it was a short and a dead board (its not, obviously), but he did nothing to try and repair it. he opened it, looked at it, and screwed it back together. lazy, pretentious, and ridiculous that i paid 50 dollars for literally a conversation about nothing, because everything he said, was a lie. don't go here, they don't know what they are doing, and they will rip you off.

I greatly appreciated the prompt, knowledgeable service provided. Pricing for services and equipment are very reasonable at this local, family-owned business.

These guys are great. They reinstalled windows on my PC and now it runs super fast. Not only that, but they took extra care to back up all my files before the installation; they even found files in folders I didn't know about and backed them up just to be safe. I think I am in good hands with Node-1 Computers in Oshawa, and I feel confident referring my friends and family too. Thanks again

Have been going to Node-1 in Oshawa for several years. I have never had a bad experience. They are a family owned business. Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, several degrees in this field, reasonable pricing and honest likely to a fault. Have recommended several people to go and "NOT ONE" person that I know has anything but good to say about them. I was actually there twice today for issues that were resolved extremely quickly. You will not regret taking your computer/laptop to Node-1. Highly recommend!!

So much knowledge! Made a horrible mistake of taking my desktop computer to the wrong place (was panicked and in a rush), they had my computer for a week and weren't able to fix the problem (long horrible story). Brought my computer to Node-1 and they were not only able to fix the problem within a couple hours, they explained the issue to me (firmware updates and NOT hard drive related) and were able and willing to answer any question I had. I felt like I was paying the right people for the right job and will continue to be a customer!
