Recently had some work done on my laptop for a broken screen. Im leaving a negative review because it took three weeks to repair and communication wasnt good at all. I called the shop many times sometimes with an answer and sometimes with no answer. It also cost an additional $20 for a part that was needed(apparently it was broken when trying to make the original screen repair, yeah okay sure it wasnt damaged in the repair process and why is that cost falling on me) and when I picked up the computer the trim around the screen wasnt even attached properly. Thanks. Im also missing the rubber feet on the bottom of my laptop to keep it from sliding around which shouldnt have even been touched because it has nothing to do with the screen. On top of all that now I cant even log into my microsoft account. I was not made aware I should back up my files and now I have to reset my entire computer and lose everything. I use this a ton for work and personal use. Not coming back again and would reccomend others look elsewhere. Update: Tried to call them on monday to talk to someone right when they opened at 10am and then again at 10:05am and no one is answering. Please update your business hours if you are not available when it says online

I have used Like New PC's for the last 15 years or so. Normally satisfied with their service. However, took my laptop in that would not boot, showing several screen pictures, and paid $69.99 to have data removed. Later, was informed that data could not be retrieved as drive was totally dead. Picked up laptop and when I ask for a partial rebate or some store credit, was denied. Not a big deal, just not the level of service expected.

Worst service ever. They told me that they were going to do the diagnostics and if there was something wrong they would take the money out of how much I payed of the diagnostic. The battery costed 50 dollars and I gave them 70, they wanted 230 to fix you whole thing mind you the computer itself costed 500. Take your money elsewhere

Used to be great service at reasonable cost. Now charge just to diagnose and had to leave laptop. Went to pick up. No notes about what was done. Then when I asked if they were able to recover a doc (what I took it in for), charged me by minute (1/2 hour minimum) to recover doc. Then when I asked about screen problem, what caused it, what I should do if it happened again, I was given curt answers they used diagnostic tools and if it happened again I'd have to bring it back. No thanks. IMO They've got a real racket going on selling bunches of stuff. Looks fishy to me. But I'll be going somewhere else for repairs.

I found a refurbished tough book at Like New. These are uncommon and the machine is in excellent condition. The price was very reasonable, and the staff was able to get it fully configured on the same day. I had a very good interaction and am pleased with the overall experience. I had used a different (local) computer service company but will likely go back to Like New with future service needs.
