LaptopMD - Computer and Phone Repair & Data Recovery

My laptop was falling apart…literally. The hinges somehow got broken and the lid couldn’t really close or open. It’s quite large, a 17.3 screen, and I had it secured in one position using masking tape. Yup…it was a pretty pathetic situation. I looked around to see how to get it fixed. I stopped in at Laptop MD and after examining it they gave me a price. It was much higher than I expected, so I thought to shop around. I tried Best Buy’s ‘Geek Squad’, and the only thing they could do was give me the hard sell to get me to buy a new laptop (even though mine wasn’t very old). I was emphatically told that it was beyond repair. Forget it, sayonara, hold a wake, because it’s finished. ‘But let me show you some of the latest models.’ Yeah, ok. I tried another place on 23rd…name slips my mind. They said they could do it, but it would take awhile. Their price was a few bucks less than Laptop MD. I went back to Laptop MD because I felt more confident in their ability. For them, it was no big deal; just a simple repair. It was pretty funny because pieces of plastic was coming off when the guy was initially looking at it, but he remained unfazed. The job took only a few days, and boom, it was done! My laptop was like brand new. In closing, I’m definitely going to bring a few other devices that need fixing. I genuinely believe these guys can do just about anything. I like the way they handled themselves, and they know what they’re doing. One downside was that I had quite a few tabs open when I brought it in, but upon return it seemed like some sort of reconfiguration took place, and I lost all those tabs; which somehow didn’t appear in the history. Not sure how that happened. In any event, if you’ve got any kind of computer issue, give these guys a call, as I’m confident they’ll be able to fix it. Hope this review helps.

I spilled chocolate on my laptop and tried to fix my hp probook 430 myself all day but failed so i brought it here immediately. Thankfully the service is amazing and quick, they also provide good estimates about the cost. Recommended place 👍👍

I have been using Laptop MD for more than 1 year now, and they are simply THE BEST! I do not understand computers easily, but the people at Laptop MD are patient and very helpful. They have given me the confidence to strike out on my own and feel comfortable in a digital environment. They also sell reburbished computers for those who are budget minded. I dropped my laptop off on Monday for a quote, by Tuesday evening I was picking up my repaired baby! The turn around was quick, everyone that I talked to was so polite, the work was reasonably priced. Definitely coming back here if I need to!

Come here maybe once a year for the past few years for desktop and laptop tech issues. Always fast service. Accurate estimate of cost and time needed to complete the repair.
