Great brand new store with awesome staff! I loved the layout and the short aisles which make it easier to find what I was looking for. The produce section was nice and big.

The prices went up probably to help pay for the store. The store is way too big. The cozy, friendly feeling is gone. I haven't seen any of the old staff. You can't get phone service in the store, if you need to call home to ask a question about something you should buy or not it's not going to happen. The deli has old meat. Let's see, what else? Bigger store but some of my favorite things aren't there anymore. I have chosen to go to the Louisville store. It has a much better atmosphere.

I’m caling out deceptive price tags and false advertising. They had a big giant “$14.99” price tag next to their toilet paper, and only in tiny print do they vaguely suggest you have to buy 3 to get a discount, otherwise it’s $19.99. Thought I wouldn’t notice at the checkout, did you? Besides this, it’s a clean and new store. But shady, anti-consumer practices like this need to end. If I have to read a legal contract every time I pick an item up, I’m not going to your store.

"I won't do it!" He said. He was always so predictable. He would order the same bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich every time we would go out to lunch. Hold the mustard. He would always slide his hands on the brick walls at parks and bathroom facilities, and when asked what he was doing, he'd always say, "....feels like my youth"... same line he's been saying ever since I've known him. When he would drive and a traffic light would change suddenly, he'd grimace. When reaching and grabbing the wrong can of soup off of the tall shelf, he'd always groan like a 45 year old man. He was only a day shy of 30. "Why'd you change up the cans Luce!!", he'd gripe at me. But I push him. I move the cans. I switch the sheets. I add hairline amounts of flavor to his sandwhiches when he's washing his hands. The framed pictures on his walls move to my order. I am length, I am height, I am width. Simple measurements are just extensions of my omniscience. He is the audience for my show. That's why when the new King Soopers on 287 and Arapahoe opened, adding extreme convenience, elegance, and additional rows of shelving for commodity products, I asked if he'd join me for the grand opening. Because change is inevitable, and he is a relic. Seas carve out new shoreline. Forests etch new stories into the earth. Stars pull new light through the vast curtain of black. And I go to the new king soopers for all of my grocery, pharmacy, alchohol, and fuel needs. Because I change. And he doesn't.

So, I rely on certain affordable ready to eat foods that King Coopers has offered. This new store seems to be making an effort to exclude certain items that I rely on regularly, which I can't help but feel put out by. I went in on sushi Wednesday to find only one item at the discount price. What happened to the spicy California crunch rolls? Also, the grab and go deli sandwiches seem to be only made once a week, and the rolls are always hard, which sucks because I used to eat them for lunch quite regularly. Other stores in the area still have these items with better quality, but this store is closest to my home, and if I have to drive elsewhere, I'll just go to Sprouts from now on. The new checkouts seem to be running the employees ragged, which is a bad look if you care about the well being of the folks that you count on to smile at the public. Pretty ill-fated transition in my opinion, and I've been a King Soopers die hard for well over 20 years. Shame on management. You need to do better, or kiss my business goodbye. JM
