Customer Reviews
After reading the reviews, I went ahead and visited this location looking for flooring products for a project I'm working on. I've been involved with HFH throughout the Denver Metro area, and honestly do not understand the hostility permeating from the workers here. There was literally 1 person in the store ( patty) who is still burning bright with the torch of the intended vision of the betterment of community for ALL . Good Job Patty, and all who can still actually feel and show kindness towards others. You are still carrying the intended vision of the establishment of Habitat Of Humanity. Thank You.
A great community resource. Have to remember to go here FIRST before going to a big box store for materials or tools.
Don't be fooled, these guys are not a charity in practice, they are not looking to help those in financial need. They are focused on getting the maximum amount possible for any quality item. Goodwill, Arc, Salvation Army etc resell for 10-20% of the current cost for a new or similar item. Restore prices all quality, name brand or newish items for 50% of the original price, that's the model pawn shops and consignment store use. $799 for a dining room table (chairs sold separately), $499 for a whirlpool washing machine, $599 for a couch..... You can even see the greed in just how they price, ending in 99 or .99 is a tactic used to trick customers into not thinking the product is as expensive. If they really cared about helping our community then they should be happy when they receive a generous DONATION, free to them, of a quality item. They could then pass that generosity on to their community, rather than see the opportunity to charge as much as possible, knowing full well that if our community had quality appliances and furnishings their standard of living would be better.
Just went to browse. Every once in a while, I find something I can use. Plus, I donate items from time to time.
Restore has a great selection of thrift items, furniture new and old, and diy building materials. I bought a computer monitor for $5 4 years ago that still works great! You never know what you will find.
