We brought in an older Desktop computer that was not booting. Mike and Chance were able to get the hard-drive cloned to a new SSD, and install a second SSD for future clones. Great shop - highly recommend.
Brought my laptop here. Was told it was likely a bad motherboard but not completely sure. Ordered a new motherboard and paid $250 deposit. 3 1/2 weeks without even a phone update. Tried calling at least 10 times over a 1 week period with no answer. Drove to the store 5 different times. Store was closed with lights out and not even a note on the door. Finally found the store open and I was issued a refund of the deposit with my receipt and work order. Beware, if you leave a computer here, it might be hard to get it back.
We had a DC jack break. Mike and Chance had this back to us, repaired, within 24 hours. Great service.
Update: in contrast to the charming response below, I just confirmed with the tech at the shop that my laptop was in fact dropped off 3 weeks prior to me picking it up per his personal text correspondence with the owner, which I’m told is their best record keeping. I’ll let the reader judge the response below, but I will assure you that the tone I was met with after trying to press for basic ownership or accountability to the facts was just as dismissive and condescending then as it was here. I’m truly not sure after all this if the owner is a liar or is just in a bit over his head, but I equally hope he gets the help he needs as well. Original Review: Held my laptop for weeks without doing so much as ordering the parts to fix it. Apparently was out of town but left no sign on the door, no indication that the location was closed either on Google or at their actual shop. Somehow no answering machine set up either. Tried selling me a replacement laptop before reluctantly admitting they had done nothing to fix the issue so far. If you have a minor repair that you’re just too busy to do, come to these guys, but make sure to call them for updates because you will receive none. Otherwise, frankly, go somewhere else.
Mike and Chance were very helpful. I had a Windows 11 computer that would not turn-on. The motherboard was replaced for a fraction of the cost of a replacement computer. They did so well, I brought in my Mom's computer, last week. Very fast, very helpful, and an awesome price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
