Excellent shop: great sales, service and top-shelf products. I've been buying products from Excel for many years and purchased my latest bike (gravel) there earlier this year. Phil was exceptionally helpful for this purchase and assisted with the free tuneup for this bike today. This remains a locally owned bike shop with top-tier service and product. Highly recommended.

I've been a customer for over 10 years. Primarily it was for Campagnolo parts. Most recently, I asked about getting an S-works Tarmac frameset. I was told they would look into it and get back to me right away etc. I never heard back. I simply bought it directly from Specialized instead.

Purchased a demo Pinarello F5 and am extremely happy. Great customer service and unbelievable value. They went above and beyond answering questions over the phone and emailing me pictures of the bike before I purchased. Bike was wrapped carefully and shipped directly to me (in VA). Excel Sports even reimbursed me for a tiny part that was damaged in shipping. 10/10 recommend.

Really sad experience. I called in at 4pm on a Thursday to ask about a bike. Was told it’s currently being build. Was told it would be finished tomorrow morning and said to come in to see it. Arrived at 10am next day to be told it’s sold and nothing can be done. Why schedule me to see a bike only to sell it online to someone else. Frustrating. I won’t be back.
