My truck 2019 Freightliner Cascadia broke down on the I-70 eastbound 20 miles before I reached to Denver. My coolant thermostat was the issue I called around to get quotes John's was cheaper by about 350 bucks he came to me in 30 minutes to make sure that it was the thermostat then went got the part and replaced it. Throughout the whole process he communicated, was honest and did the work with integrity. To help my fellow truckers out; I asked John what were his specialties and this is what he said: He can fix all cooling brakes suspension tires jump starts etc but he can't really help you if you have a def problem.
We have a American Coach Revolution Diesel Pusher Motorhome. Pulled into our RV resort in Granby, Co and the the Coach brooke down at the end of the driveway (thankfully, not on the road in!). I found John and our roadside assistance plan called him and he called the very next morning. He asked all about what happened and was able to get parts before he came out and fixed the issue (failed Air conditioner compressor and Fan belt, which caused some other issues!). John was very knowlegable, an excellent mechanic, humble, willing to help and go out of the way to help us get back on the road, which we did! Thank you John!

John drove all the way to Winter Park on Christmas Eve to help remove our front drive shaft that had exploded. He only works on semi-trucks but I’d highly recommend him especially since he helped us out when we were in a serious bind.
I’d called John with Downieville Mobile Service as I’d seen a local business on Facebook praising his work after he’d helped get their snowplow on their truck up and running again. I have an old Western Isarmatic plow setup on my ‘72 Ford that I’d tried just about everything to get to angle again—replaced cables, joystick, angle cylinders, had the pump rebuilt, adjusted cables and valves—nothing was working. I called John and he came up to my house the same day and, after a lot of testing, manually working the valves, and squirreling with it, found that my new angle cable was faulty, having slightly broken free from its housing behind the joystick—something I’d neglected to consider since the damn things were brand-new! John was patient, thoughtful, friendly, and incredibly fair in his service charges. The guy’s a hell of a mechanic and diagnostician….and he didn’t even make fun of me after overlooking such a simple thing (I wouldn’t have blamed him if he had). Points for that.
