Christian Brothers Automotive Greeley

Since the ownership changed, I've heard bad things about this place. They try to upsell work and parts. They quoted me $4,500 for a squealing sound. Another mechanic fixed it for $700 with a water pump. Not a pleasant experience.

I've been going to Christian Brothers for a few years. They used to be good. Recently, my Jeep had an electrical meltdown. They diagnosed it as a bad wire harness in the door. They had to order one off eBay since Chrysler doesn't make them anymore. I asked to keep the old harness. When I picked up my Jeep, the power locks worked, but the windows didn't, and the key fob wouldn't unlock the doors. They couldn't figure it out, and the bill was over $1,000. I didn't get the old harness (which is illegal). Another shop later found that the master control switch was out and a relay was missing. I feel I was treated poorly. I used to recommend them, but not anymore.

Not impressed. I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic, and they had no clue what the issue was but still charged me. Today I called for a simple quote, and they wanted my name, number, VIN, etc. Do different people get different quotes? It's silly.

My brakes went out in the snow! I took my Mazda Tribute back to Christian Brothers, where they'd worked on it in 2017. They did a free brake check and found the master cylinder and brake booster were out. These parts were still under the 2-year/24,000-mile warranty (whichever comes last), and they honored it! It would have cost me $1,044. They have a customer for life! Well done, Christian Brothers. A class act!

These guys have a near five-star rating for a reason. They have very friendly customer service and provide a company shuttle. They also send detailed text messages about your vehicle's urgent needs, future attention items, and good items, including pictures and videos of damaged areas. I am extremely happy with my experience!
