Stopped in thinking I needed a new part for my bike, but Rich quickly realized it just needed to be adjusted. He jumped right in to fix it and didn't charge for the service or try to sell me something i didn't need. I know it didn't take him long to fix, but the service, expertise and honesty was priceless! They definitely gained a customer through this experience and I'll gladly return for service and purchases in the future!

After doing some shopping around local bike shops. We bought our e-bikes from breakaway. Not only we’re they able to offer a price that was lower that the manufacturer, due to a holiday sale, they also included two complimentary tune ups included with all purchased bikes. They worked with us over the course of a few months to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and let us try out as many bikes as we wanted. I could not recommend this shop enough. Rich and his crew run an old fashioned, customer focused business.

Awesome bike shop! Awesome service! Awesome people! 5 Stars! In 2014 I was stoked to buy a hardtail mountain bike from the guys at Breakaway Cycles and rode that bike everywhere. When I wore out the parts they helped me upgrade components as well as my riding skills. As my riding and bike knowledge progressed I wanted to go to a full suspension trail bike so they helped me do that too. In 2018 they took components from my old mountain bike and built up a new custom full suspension mountain bike. On the new bike my love for riding just keeps climbing and descending the mountains! Now it's 2024 and I ride a gravel bike, a trail bike, and an enduro bike! They helped build them, do upgrades to them, and provide maintenance on them! Awesome bike shop! Awesome service! My derailleur broke on my MTB as I was preparing to ride with my husband. It was 5 pm. We took it to Breakaway Cycles at 5:30 pm and they closed at 6 pm. They quickly assessed the situation and replaced the derailleur. Thankfully, they had it in stock. We were back on our bikes and did a quick ride at Devil’s Backbone before sunset. Thank you Breakaway Cycles. You’re the BEST!

Needed a mirror for my helmet or my prescription goggles to be able to view other cyclists on the trail coming up from behind me. This was after a cyclist passed me with virtually no warning and I was so surprised I almost rode off the trail. Nothing the owner showed me would work for my helmet or goggles but he had a bar end mirror that wasn't as obtrusive as most so I bought it. After installing it and taking a brief ride around the block I was very pleased with what I could see behind me. This is the second or third time I've been here and the owner and/staff have always been super helpful and friendly!
