Best Buy

I got a Best Buy credit card since 2013. Best Buy sent me a text to pick up my purchase on Friday 3/21/24 and when I came in on Tuesday 4 days for them to hold the item which I had paid for. They told me it was sold to someone else earlier in the day. I purchased $1,600.00 in the store on Wednesday 12th. It is extremely horrible way of doing business, since all items was purchased with a Best Buy Credit card and not to text me back to let me know not to waste my time going to the store because they already sold it!

Always fun to go into a tech filled store. Tried the Google nest speaker, didn't care for it or use it like I was expecting, so returned it and got the new Google buds pro 2. Really like those. Keepers. The reasons for 4 vs 5 stars... 1. Some things are not organized well, and don't have open items to see and try out. (Google nest speaker for one) 2. The laptop and PC area needs better signage to distinguish gaming laptops and PCs from general use ones. Other than that, always fun to check out new things.

Purchased 2 new computers & paid for extra geek squad help. Got home & 1 computer isn't working. Called to get our "paid geek squad help" hoping for a simple solution. The store # & geek help line are answered in another country. Been on the phone for 4 hours with the geek squad in India. The computer still doesn't work & it sounded like the lady was taking a bath during my tech support... to be honest, I'm not sure what just happened in those disorienting 4 hours... I just shared a tub with the GSI (Geek squad India). Anyway, anybody want to buy my Geek squad support? It comes with beach front property in Arizona!

AMAZING help from a geek squad employee named darryl, young dude so beyond nice. Solved a 3 second problem (power switch wasn’t on…stupid) without any hassle or any charge. Just told us to have a great day will definitely return for more help. Micro center tried to charge 80 dollars and two weeks to just look at it. Knowing the problem can be at least diagnosed within seconds we left micro upset and left Best Buy beyond happy!

It was a good experience, but I give it four stars just because when I came to the place I couldn't find an XBox, I asked an employee and he helped me, and the box was in the back where you pick up the orders, so that was confused. But the guy was really friendly, even though he looked online where the Xbox was.
